High
Desert Construction
A licensed contractor, Mark Feldman has designed
and built 200 homes in New Mexico. Some are dramatic, contemporary
cliffhangers. Others are more traditional adobe haciendas. Respect
for local architectural traditions and attention to detail are
common elements in all of his work, with the client's needs put
first, ahead of any preconceived design solutions. Mark earned a
master's degree in architecture from the University of New Mexico
and worked as an energy management specialist in the early 1980's.
One of New Mexico's solar pioneers, his homes have been featured in
Su Casa magazine,
New Mexico magazine (PDF), and the Albuquerque Journal, among
other publications. |

NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico
As essential to American freedom as our right to
think, vote, worship, work and marry, is our right to privacy. This
very basic and necessary right includes having access to safe and
legal abortion, effective contraceptive options, and quality
reproductive health care. But unlike the other rights we expect as
Americans, this is not one we can take for granted.
Our goal at NARAL Pro-Choice New Mexico is to help find workable
answers that will ultimately reduce the need for abortions. Ignoring
shortcomings in access to contraception, reproductive health care,
and sex education while ripping away a woman's right to choose will
only result in more unintended pregnancies and more abortions. This
shortsighted approach is neither American nor life affirming. |

Common Cause New Mexico
Promoting Accountable Government
Common Cause New Mexico has made a difference. We have been on the
front lines of numerous hard fought battles for government reform
and accountability. In the past 27 years, we have been instrumental
in the implementation of key state and municipal reform measures,
including voluntary public financing of campaigns for citywide races
in Albuquerque, voluntary public financing of campaigns for the NM
Public Regulation Commission, online campaign finance reporting, the
merit selection of judges, the Lobbyist Disclosure Act, the Campaign
Practices Act, the Open Meetings Act and ethics reform legislation
like the bill to create the Office of the Inspector General in
Albuquerque.
Get Involved in a Smart Way: Join Us
Today, over 300,000 Common Cause members and supporters -- among

Conservation Voters of New Mexico
CVNM is a family of organizations. Laws that protect
our water, land and air are quietly under attack at all levels of
government without regard for our children, our jobs or our future.
Conservation Voters New Mexico works to defend both our jobs and our
environment for generations to come. In concert with our PAC,
Conservation Voters New Mexico Action Fund, we elevate the
importance of conservation issues in the legislative process,
empower people to participate in the political process, and elect
candidates that will fight to protect our water, land and air.
For decades in New Mexico, short-term profit for the few has
triumphed over long-term environmental protection for the many. The
time for change is now. Your vehicles to make this change are
Conservation Voters New Mexico and the Conservation Voters New
Mexico Action Fund.
Our Missions:
Conservation Voters New Mexico, a nonpartisan, non-profit 501c(4)
organization, works to protect New Mexico’s natural environment and
our cherished way of life. Our mission is to make sensible
conservation policies a top priority for elected officials,
political candidates, and voters across the state. We do this by:
Educating legislators and the public on critical conservation
issues;
Lobbying on behalf of pro-conservation legislation;
Holding legislators accountable for decisions that impact the
environment; and
Endorsing and electing pro-conservation candidates to public office. |
